HOW TO APPLY

(1) Obtain a PIN Code from any branch of Ecobank nationwide upon the payment of N2,500 Application Fee to the Cashier. (2) Logon to www.nigerianarmyms.org (3) Read the Qualification Criteria. (4) From the Home Page, Select DSSC or SSC application type. Ensure you chose the right type from the home page. (5) Click on 'Register' to fill the registration form. Ensure you type the PIN Code obtained from the bank correctly NOTE: REGISTRATION IS TO BE DONE ONCE. IF YOU HAVE REGISTERED BEFORE JUST LOGIN TO CONTINUE FILLING YOUR FORM. (6) On successful registration, you will receive a success email and SMS from 'The Nigerian Army'. (7) Click on 'Login' to login, then you can start filling the forms. (8) Edit your Application Profile (This will require a passport photo and your biodata). (9) Edit your Qualifications (WASSCE, and other Certificates are entered here). (10) Edit/Upload Documents (Attach your Certificates here). THE NEXT OPTION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL ALL ABOVE STEPS HAVE BEEN TAKEN. (11) Print your photo cards.The first page is to be signed by Court of Law.The second page is for your Local Government to sign.

1. You need to create a new connection on your PC with the settings below and save it using whatever means.

APN: blackberry.net
Username: empty
Password: empty

2. Now go to the advance settings of the new connection you made and make your (WIN XP User: Properties==>Networking==>Properties)

Primary DNS address: 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS address: 8.8.4.4

Now save and connect.

3. The final thing you need to do now is to configure your browser manually with these settings:

Proxy address: 10.71.170.5
Port: 8080

That’s all with Etisalat on pc. Note that you don’t need to subscribe to any blackberry plan for this trick to work.

FUTO POST UTME

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri, FUTO has announced the date for post UTME screening for admission into the University for 2012/2013 session. FUTO post UTME will take place on Thursday, May 31, 2012. This is according a notification on the university's website.

However, no information was provided about the admission requirement, procedure, or cost. However, announcement promises more details will be revealed soon.

JAMB Direct Entry 2012 (Registration Tips)

1.   Purchase you card at any of the under-listed approved selling points
      First City  Monument Bank
      Skye Bank Plc
      Union Bank Plc
      Zenith Bank Plc
2.   Ensure that you visit an accredited registration centre
3.   Ensure that you have an electronic/scanned copy of your Most Recent Passport Photograph (not older  than 3 months) before you start your registration. Candidates are advised to test the validity of their passport photographs before proceeding to fill.
4.   Use Microsoft Image Editor or Any available Image editing Software to Resize and Convert your Picture into JPEG Format and required size of 15 Kilo Bytes. 
5.  You may decide to download the Direct Entry Registration Template  and fill before filling the form online. Please keep your Card and Receipt properly and always Logout before quitting the system.

NOTE: Candidates who supplied valid e-mail addresses during registration shall receive their registration details via e-mails upon Submission of forms. This should be printed and attached to the earlier printed slip.   

The accredited centres are not to charge more than N700 with two copies of registration slip to be printed for you

INFORMATION ON 2012 POST UME SCREENING EXERCISE

Screening Procedure

1      You are required to complete the Application Form online. Your Digital Passport Photograph and        UTME Result slip are required to fill the Application Form.

  Please note that any Digital Passport Photograph size greater than 50 KB will be rejected and the format for the Digital Passport MUST be in JPG .

2     You are required to print three copies of the Application Form. Ensure that it contains your FORM NO, NAMES, SCREENING CENTRE and PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH before you print. The three copies will be used as follows:

           

                   >>    Bring 1st copy to your Screening Centre

                   >>    If you are finally admitted, bring the 2^nd copy for Registration on resumption.

                   >>    Keep the 3^rd copy for your own record.

           3.   The DATE for the SCREENING EXERCISE is Saturday, MAY 26, 2012 at exactly 2.00pm. Candidates are expected to be seated latest by 12 noon.

>>>    UTME Result downloaded from JAMB website.

>>>    Post UTME Application/Registration Form showing your Passport Photograph.
